Institute for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Economy
The Institute for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Economy (ISEEE) was established in 2003 to provide leadership and coordination for developing and implementing energy- and environment-related initiatives at the University of Calgary.
The Institute provides an effective collaborative interface within the university and with other research providers and research sponsors - locally, nationally and internationally.
ISEEE provides leadership for engaging world-class, interdisciplinary and mission-based research and education for advancing sustainable energy, environment and the economy.
With almost 30,000 students, the U. of C. is among the largest and most successful research universities in Canada and has a high level of energy and environmental expertise across a number of disciplines and faculties, including science, engineering, law, economics, business and environmental design.
